Pricing

What does Ferrite enterprise software cost?

For a long time, building your own software felt out of reach on cost, which is what pushed so many teams toward buying the closest product and shaping the business around it. Pricing is where that changes and the build side of the decision becomes real. You pay once to build the application, you own what we make for you, and the figure follows the work involved rather than the number of people who will use it. Infrastructure stays visible at cost, and Ferrite Care, our ongoing coverage once the software is live, is entirely optional.

Ferrite pricing structure by component.
What you pay forHow it is priced
Individual & small businessOne to ten people. Built and checked largely by the machine, delivered without a project around it — no kickoff workshop, no scheduled acceptance cycle, no standing meetings. A standard application runs $15,000 to $34,000; a single workflow starts lower. From $4,500, one-time
MidsizeEleven to two hundred people. Real delivery at half the ceremony — a kickoff call rather than a workshop, an acceptance session rather than a scheduled cycle, training for the roles that exist. A standard application runs $44,000 to $114,000.From $16,500, one-time
EnterpriseTwo hundred people and up, where procurement, security review, a full acceptance cycle and training across role types are part of the work rather than around it. A standard application runs $154,000 to $405,000.From $66,000, one-time
InfrastructureThe cloud, databases, storage, and networking your application runs on, in your own environment. We can host and operate it for you instead if you would rather we did.Billed at cost, itemized. No markup.
Regulatory engineeringControl mapping, evidence, and framework integration for the applications that call for it, scoped to what each one actually needs. HIPAA support is planned.Scoped per application at Blueprint
Ferrite CareOptional ongoing coverage: monitoring and the maintenance we take care of for you, along with an included Spark, our name for a single governed change to a live application. Priced by company size so a small business is not paying an enterprise rate, and covering up to five applications — it is one team and one on-call rota whether you run one application or five. From $99 / month, up to 5 applications, then $50 each
ChangeA Spark is a single, governed change to your application, with an outcome, a scope, and a delivery date all agreed up front before we begin.Fixed-price per Spark; one Care Spark included monthly

Starting ranges are planning guidance, not quotes. The Application Blueprint sets the final scope and fixed Build price. Run the estimate for your application.

Ferrite Care

Ongoing coverage, sized to the business.

Care is a service you can start and stop, not a fee that keeps your software switched on. If you end Ferrite Care, the application keeps running and your license stays active, because the two are not tied together. It is priced by company size, not by the number of people who use the application, so a small business runs on a small-business rate and never an enterprise one. Every level is the same coverage, optional, and priced per application.

Ferrite Care monthly price by company size. Each tier covers up to five applications; each application beyond that is $50 a month.
Company sizeMonthly, per application
1–10 employees$99 / month, up to 5 applications
11–200 employeesMost common$299 / month, up to 5 applications
201+ employees$699 / month, up to 5 applications

Every level includes

  • Application and Core monitoring
  • Core runtime and security updates
  • Break/fix support
  • Backup and recovery verification
  • Compatibility maintenance for the integrations in scope
  • An included Care Spark each month — one governed change to the live application

Applications that need round-the-clock response or a tighter recovery commitment can move up to mission-critical coverage on a custom SLA. Scope a coverage agreement.

Ownership and license

Care pays for the work of operating and maintaining your software, and it is separate from your right to use it. If you end Care, the application and its licensed runtime keep running at the versions you have deployed, and the platform license stays active for as long as you operate at least one application we have built. Later updates to Core, the licensed layer that carries your integrations, along with security and compatibility releases, reach you through Care or through an approved Spark. The source code behind the Ferrite platform stays closed, and we do not hand it over or make it viewable.

We price the work of building your application, not the number of people who will end up using it.
